My Fav' Make-Up Combo's Of The Moment...

I took these pictures back when I was in Italy on holiday but as you'll probably know if you follow me on twitter is that my MacBook completely broke whilst we were out there so I couldn't persist with my outfit post or my reviews that I set out to do. However, it is now back up and running and I'm now back on the 'blogging and youtube band-waggon'!

I never used to see the point in mixing products or trying to make certain things work with others and I defiantly never thought one product could improve another but how I was wrong...

Revlon Colourburst Lipstick in Pink in the afternoon, Mac fluidline in blacktrack, Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Nude Delight, Softlips lipbalm, My Face Cosmetics Lipstick in 137, Fake Benefit Eye Liner Brush, Sigma E25 Brush, Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer in 52, Barry M Lipliner in Pink, Mac Paint in Bare Canvas.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer with Sigma Travel E25 Brush:

These two together work like a dream. The concealer is perfect for the under eyes as it doesn't feel or look heavy on the skin meaning it doesn't cake or stick to any of the dry patches on the skin. It also manages to cover everything up as well whilst still making the skin look like skin. The brush however is the thing that really does make this concealer shine.. It blends it into the skin to create an airbrushed finish to the under eyes and also gives a more concentrated coverage to a certain area than it would if you were applying it with your fingers.
Mac Fluidline in Blacktrack, Mac Paint in Bare Canvas and Fake Benefit eye liner brush:

These three put together create my simplest eye look. The Mac Paint does a great job at priming the lids and this is now the only primer I use for all eyeshadows, however it is also very opaque and creates a great background colour for liner on the upper lash line. Gel Liner has vastly become my favourite eye liner method and this little gem of a brush helps it to glide with ease. I ordered this fake benefit brush from eBay for £1.99 and I have to say, I've never spent a better two pounds on anything. I've always wanted a bent eyeliner brush and the only one that people seem to talk about is the one from coastal scents which is extremely hard to get over here sadly so I took a risk and got this one instead and I'm happy to say that these three work amazingly well together!

My face cosmetics lipstick for fair skin tones in 137 and Revlon super lustrous lipgloss in nude delight:

I have recently posted on here that I do not under any circumstances suit nude lip products and I truly did believe that as I had tried so so many of them from Mac to 2true and non of them had completely suited me. However, whilst mooching around the isles of a nearby boots store I came across this beauty of a lipstick and as soon as it was swatched, I just had to have it. It's the perfect nude with a pinky-rose undertone which suits me better than a cold blue-pink one. My only problem with this lipstick is that it can be a tiny bit drying and sometimes needs a bit of spicing up! I love to apply this lipgloss in the middle of my lips to plump them up a little and get them looking a bit more shiny.

Revlon Colourburst Lipstick in Pink in the afternoon, Illamasqua Lipgloss and Barry M lipliner in Pink:

I am a complete newbie to lipliners, until I brought this one, I had never used one before as if I'm honest.. I always thought they were for older women in their late forties who were trying to keep their lips defined. After using this one though, I shall be purchasing some more as this one really did help my lipstick to stay on a lot longer even through a 4 course meal and 5 glasses of coca cola! You now could be wondering what the Illamasqua lipgloss is doing there as lets be honest, the colours are completely different.. well, this lipgloss is a funny one, in which it's a thick white gloss with lots of blue and pink iridescent glitter particles which run throughout it. This gives the lip colour more dimensions as when it hits the light, it shines a different colour.

Thank you for taking the time to read and I hope you enjoyed!

October Favourites!

(Theres no pictures yet-but will be (: )

No one knows how glad i am that its friday!  -This week has been hell, there has been so much revision that i don't even feel like i know how to relax anymore!

Anyhow, i must apologise, i know i've been the worst blogger in this entire world these past few weeks but i truly am sorry and i'll promise to post more!  -oh and by the way, just to make matters worse the internets been down for the last week -.^

Well, I better get on with my favourites, i know its the 12th of november but who cares(: !

First up is..

Coralista Blush by benefit - this one of their boxed blushers and since getting this gorgeous blusher in one of their limited edition sets released this christmas, its been my to-go-to blush and has totally won me over from MAC's Springsheen!

Next is..

Collection 2000's Fake It, False Lash Effect Mascara - i want to say this has changed my life but i wouldn't really go that far! I was so fed up of L'oreal's telescopic that i ventured into the world of boot's and took the plunge and I'm extremely happy to say that it was the right thing to do! This Mascara is amazing and it really does give you a false lash effect without looking fake. This doesn't flake away and can be reapplied throughout the day if needed, I really can't say enough about this! Just go an buy it.. £4.99 at Superdrug or Boots (:

Third on my list...

Natural Collection's Sheer Lipstick in Sorbet - this is beautiful! i've been really impressed by this brand over the month of october. It seems to bring out natural products, for very little price that are very good quality for their money and this little gem is definatly one of them.

Fourth...

This is always one of my favourites - its my go to lipgloss. It's ELF's Mineral Lipgloss in Daring. This colour brightens up my face when i wear it and i really think it gives me that flush of well needed colour. It's running out, so i'll have to stock up on it. I love this range of lipglosses from ELF anyway as they're really great quality for only £3.50. I really do love this colour as well (:

Fifth...

The most boring thing the planet has ever come across - Makeup Sponges! :O
They really have been my savouir this month, my Studio Fix Fluid has gone on like a dream with these beauties and i just buy the ones from superdrug that come in a pack of 20. I've been using these a lot more than my brushes at the moment as i'm just finding that they give me the better finish.

The last is a little something for my hair...

It's V05's Weather Resistant Volume Boost Gel Spray. For the last few weeks, i haven't been curling or straightening my hair (except from my side fringe-doesn't really count!) and it really is doing it some good. I've just been scrunching it when i blowdry it (: It's been a dream for time in the mornings I have to say! I've been spraying this in at the ends to around the middle of my hair and just scrunching it and then putting in my dry shampoo. This really has made my hair a little more interesting and wilddd! (in a good way!)

september favourites (:

i know that i'm bit early with this but its my birthday on saturday the second and otherwise i won't actually get to post this!
batiste coloured dry shampoo-
this is the one for brown hair but in my opinion,it still needs to be darker as it still shows up grey-ish in my hair and i look silly walking into school with a huge grey blob on my head! anyhow, i really have been loving this and not so much for removing the greasy patches in my hair-yeah its great for that as well, but i've been curling my hair every day since i started back at school (which will be like four weeks ago this week). so this has been great for chucking in my bag and giving my hair that quick 'pick-me-up' of volume that it needs. i love this so much especially as its only £2.30!

the pore-fessional-
i've only had this for about three days to be honest but just the concept of this is making me think that it's such a quirky product. in my opinion, benefit isn't one to come up with wonder-making statements such as this, they're normally just a make up brand in my eyes. but with this product, they say 'PRO balm to minimize the appearance of pores'. if you pick out the bits of what they say- they only say 'appearance' but still, i'm looking forward to really trying this out. this was £23.50 -so this is more of a favourite buy but who cares! (:

the falsies volum' express mascara-
i did a quick post on this last week sometime so you can go and check that out if you want to find out more (:  i'm really liking this mascara especially as a big change for me to swap as i was always with 'max faxtors lash extension effect' -it was like my baby!
now i've moved on,even though i'll probably go back!  this really seperates my lashes and i'm loving it! this is £7.99 (:

mac 249 large shader brush-
you many mac freeks will be telling me that this is not made for concealer, well i'm using it as a concealer brush as it's a nice sized brush for applying concealer in large amounts but to a precise area. this has completly changed my makeup rountine and has speeded it up (:
i love this brush, especially with the collection 2000 concealer-amazing!
this is probably my favourite favourite!

so that was my september favourites, sorry this has been such a long post guys,
