Liquid Liner: Making Baby Steps!

So up above is my first attempt at liquid eyeliner! I've used it before, but failed every time and just taken it off! It's so frustrating when I watch videos of people and they can do it really easily, because I really struggle.
Anyhow, here are some close-up piccies of my first attempt, I know it's not amazing, but come on- it is my first go, hehe!

yes, i do look kind of strange in both of these pictures! But with that fact aside, this is kind of what it looked like. I couldn't show you that well because my camera was on charge and I had to use my macbook. However, I did like the polished look that it gave my makeup and even with quite a natural face of 'slap' going on, it still made my makeup look "done".

This is the beauty that helped me produce my liner. Nyx's Super Fat Eye Marker. It has a felt tip nib and is obviously quite large. However, it is pretty dense and therefore, gives a easy application for you to apply the liner and get a nice crisp line. It was very black and helped me to produce a nice line. But..  A few hours later, I ended up with liner near my eyebrows because it had transferred to my crease and this isn't good enough. So next time, I'm going to try and use my MAC Blacktrack Fluidline to create a nice crisp line, that stays and doesn't transfer!

Thank you for reading,

  2. Just make sure you steady your arm on a table or something and often making it thicker towards the edge of your eye and thinner towards the first bit of your eye, as putting it thick there can close the eye up.
