a la drugstore hauling

today i just popped into town to pick up some things that i'd run out of,but then 3 for 2 kicked in *raises eyebrow*!

so here's just a few bits and pieces that i got from superdrug and surprisingly... audi!

Twin pack of cotton pads - thought i'd start with the least glamourus things! these are from audi as my dad had to go in there to buy some choccies so as they were only 99p and i was desperate for new ones, i picked them up  (:

Antibacterial hand gel - again, this is ultra boring but when i'm hauling- i'm showing you girls everything i've got! this one was from superdrug, it was 2 for £1.50 so i picked one up and so did dad. he said it'd be good for my school bag!

Gosh Darling Lipstick - i'm  probably the last person on this earth to get hold of this, every one knows what this looks like and i'm really looking forward to trying it. It was £6.49 (i think) from superdrug. I don't normally like nude lipsticks as i think brighter colours suit me a bit better but i needed to get my hands on this after i swatched it. It was really creamy and i felt better about buying it!

Gosh Lip Gloss in 0098 - this is when the 3 for 2 kicked in. i'm such a sucker for offers! even if they don't even help me, i still get sucked in - god i'm awful! This colour is really nice, it looks more pink in the tube, but on the lips it comes off as a pinky-red. i put this on when i got home and i really like this colour. the lipglosses aren't sticky but they are quite wet. overall, this is a nice shade.

Gosh Lip Gloss in 0096 - Yes, so this was my third on the 3 for 2. I wanted a more sustainable colour that wasen't too bright or too nude and i think this has that potential. Its more of a purpley-pink and for winter i think this will look nice (:  I haven't tried this on my lips yet, but i'm guessing it will have the same formulation as the first shade.

Superdrug's make up wedges - These come in a pack of 20 and in quite a good quality zip up bag. It took me ages to actually find some make up sponges that came in a big pack. I could only find ones that came in packs of twos or fours. I've been using sponges everyday to apply my foundation at the moment as i find it gives me a better finish than a brush at the moment.

Collection 2000's Lasting Perfection Concealer - most of you probably know that this is my holy grail concealer, and even though i had 3 back ups, this morning they all decided they didn't like me and none of it was left! so i had to pick this up. It's in medium if any of you were wondering!

Lacura Aqua Complete Moisteriser - i've heard good things about audi's moisterisers, and if they live up to the hype i'll be a very happy girl because this was only £1.99! it's in quite a large pot and it smells gorgeous because its enriched with sea minerals. It's actually a blue cream which is quite strange, however- i comes out as normal!

Lacura Concealer Pen - i'm really annoyed at this picture! you can't even see what it says, how stupid! anyway, i've also been told that this is amazing as well, its a dupe of ysl's touche eclait but for only £3.99. in audi they didn't have any testers so i had to take a guess at my colour match. there was only two shades to chose from anyway - amber and cashmere, with cashemere being the lightest and amber being the darker shade. after some debating i chose cashmere as i'd rather it be too light that too dark and i have to say, even if this is on the lighter side of things, once it's blended out the colour is perfect. there's a button on the bottom which you can see on the photo, that you press to eject the concealer into the brush applicator which can thm be brushed onto the face for the application. I'm really looking forward to trying this as i have high hopes for it, a review will follow!

thank you all for reading my blabber on this sunday afternoon! if you'd like reviews on any of the products mentioned then just ask and it'll be done (:

October Favourites!

(Theres no pictures yet-but will be (: )

No one knows how glad i am that its friday!  -This week has been hell, there has been so much revision that i don't even feel like i know how to relax anymore!

Anyhow, i must apologise, i know i've been the worst blogger in this entire world these past few weeks but i truly am sorry and i'll promise to post more!  -oh and by the way, just to make matters worse the internets been down for the last week -.^

Well, I better get on with my favourites, i know its the 12th of november but who cares(: !

First up is..

Coralista Blush by benefit - this one of their boxed blushers and since getting this gorgeous blusher in one of their limited edition sets released this christmas, its been my to-go-to blush and has totally won me over from MAC's Springsheen!

Next is..

Collection 2000's Fake It, False Lash Effect Mascara - i want to say this has changed my life but i wouldn't really go that far! I was so fed up of L'oreal's telescopic that i ventured into the world of boot's and took the plunge and I'm extremely happy to say that it was the right thing to do! This Mascara is amazing and it really does give you a false lash effect without looking fake. This doesn't flake away and can be reapplied throughout the day if needed, I really can't say enough about this! Just go an buy it.. £4.99 at Superdrug or Boots (:

Third on my list...

Natural Collection's Sheer Lipstick in Sorbet - this is beautiful! i've been really impressed by this brand over the month of october. It seems to bring out natural products, for very little price that are very good quality for their money and this little gem is definatly one of them.

Fourth...

This is always one of my favourites - its my go to lipgloss. It's ELF's Mineral Lipgloss in Daring. This colour brightens up my face when i wear it and i really think it gives me that flush of well needed colour. It's running out, so i'll have to stock up on it. I love this range of lipglosses from ELF anyway as they're really great quality for only £3.50. I really do love this colour as well (:

Fifth...

The most boring thing the planet has ever come across - Makeup Sponges! :O
They really have been my savouir this month, my Studio Fix Fluid has gone on like a dream with these beauties and i just buy the ones from superdrug that come in a pack of 20. I've been using these a lot more than my brushes at the moment as i'm just finding that they give me the better finish.

The last is a little something for my hair...

It's V05's Weather Resistant Volume Boost Gel Spray. For the last few weeks, i haven't been curling or straightening my hair (except from my side fringe-doesn't really count!) and it really is doing it some good. I've just been scrunching it when i blowdry it (: It's been a dream for time in the mornings I have to say! I've been spraying this in at the ends to around the middle of my hair and just scrunching it and then putting in my dry shampoo. This really has made my hair a little more interesting and wilddd! (in a good way!)

concealer (: -collection 2000 lasting perfection, review!

as i have zero followers at the moment, i feel like its pretty pointless typing this but hopefully someone will wonder across my beautiful blog, and realise that its more than just words (: and if your that someone, i love you! <3

anyway.. back to the review, i find review's pretty helpful and especially when the product is a bargin and this one definatly is! It's £3.99 at superdrug.
this concealer is a real winner for me- its cheap,it has a good constituency, good coverage and everything that can be good about a concealer!

this is a liquid concealer and looks like this...
it looks the part with sleek black packaging and clear black writing. the colour's are 'alrighttt' there's four colours to choose from as far as i know, very light, light, medium and dark. I have medium, and it's a little on the light side for me, but i don't want to jump on the dark shade because i don't want to look oraaaaange!

it has a normal sponge applicator that is perfect for concealing blemishes, as its big enough to cover 'one' with only one slodge. here it is..

how boring? most of you have more or less seen one of these before, but just in case you haven't i thought i'd give you the pleasue of seeing one of these beautiful things!

however, i do use a concealcer brush to apply this to larger areas and also to under my eyes. i use my MAC 249, now all you 'mad-mac-people' will tell me 'no,it's a large shader brush-for your EYES!?' and they'll all be a bit like 'hello?!?!'  but for me, i like quite a large concealer brush for this product, compared to my 194-which in my opinion is only for precise application. MAC has a plethora of brushes, and they are all very multi-purpose but each to there own.

this is a prize winning concealer for me, and if i was you i'd totally give it a go! :)  for £3.99, can you go wrong ?
