Why don't I love them!?!

Nude lipsticks and me just don't click! I have four of the things and only one of them suits me and it's not really a nude!
I've really tried to love them but it just doesn't happen, I don't know why?
These are the four I own..

from left to right:
MAC Myth, MAC (? miscellaneous), Gosh Darling and ELF natural nymph. All of these are beautiful colours, however they just never look right on me. Whether it's because I think I look like a right tart! or the fact that I just don't suit nudes! Brighter colours just look so much better on me.
However, the lipstick second from the left-the MAC one actually works! This MAC lipstick is discontinued and I got it from Bicester CCO. Sadly, most of the letters have rubbed off the bottom of the lipstick so i don't actually know the colour name. This is a lustre lipstick which is my favourite finish to a lipstick. As you can see,the colour is a lot pinkier than the rest, that it is nearly not even a nude at all!
Can any of you recommend some colours that are more pinky shade nudes? Like the one above? Do any of you have trouble wearing nudes as well or am I alone!

I've found love again

..with ELF's Cool Coral

source-google images

I loved this lipstick for ages when I first got it and it was my summer lipstick staple, but I forgot about it when my lips got chapped and went shockingly disgusting!

However, last week just before I was going to dance,I decided to change up my look and put this on and it was instant love again! <3

I put it on today and I've been in love with it,even though I've had to reapply it throughout the day it's just such a beautiful colour that I don't care!

Earlier on today I felt like I wanted a more glossy effect so I applied ELF's clear gloss out of the plumping lip glaze and this looked lovely to :))

It's just so versatile,I'm sure theres going to be many favourites posts with this in it'!

I'm in love again <3

Elf Mineral Lipglosses: Review

i feel like its time for a review, so i'm going to be reviewing one of my favourite group of lipglosses and these are the elf mineral lipglosses, these cost £3.50 from eyeslipsface.com and in th UK this is the only place you can get them from however in America, i'm pretty certain that they sell them in some drugstores.

i have these in the shades - sorority girl, bare, daring & wild.

from left to right: sorority girl, daring, wild and bare

these glosses are my go-to lipgloss. the texture of them isn't too sticky, but also not too wet as though they would just slip off. the colour range on the website is very wide and new shades are added quite frequently. the glosses are quite small compared to a MAC lipglass but still big enough to carry 6.5g of product.

swatches - from left to right: wild, daring, sorority girl and bare

bare is the only non-shimmery shade that i chose. however, sorority girl is the only colour that has shimmer in it when looking at the tube and also on the lips - its hard to explain!

daring is by far my favourite colour and even though its red its a wearable color for everyday as its a buildable colour. it really gives colour to the face without washing it out.

the only minor problem i've had with these is the fact that because i use the daring lipgloss so much, if you look closely at the top photo, you'll be able to see that on the lid of that one it looks slightly sticky. well this is because they're is a leak of some sort in the top of the lipgloss and this makes it a pain when putting in a bag or makeup bag to take out. sometimes it is fine and others it will leak everywhere.
this is not a big problem though as for only £3.50, you can pick another one up and also, it may only be my one that was faulty.

i would really encourage you to all go and pick up one of these lipglosses for the price that they are as i really don't think that the're mentioned enough on the beauty community.
i love these so when you're next making an order from ELF, check these out - i really recommend all the colours that i have (:

October Favourites!

(Theres no pictures yet-but will be (: )

No one knows how glad i am that its friday!  -This week has been hell, there has been so much revision that i don't even feel like i know how to relax anymore!

Anyhow, i must apologise, i know i've been the worst blogger in this entire world these past few weeks but i truly am sorry and i'll promise to post more!  -oh and by the way, just to make matters worse the internets been down for the last week -.^

Well, I better get on with my favourites, i know its the 12th of november but who cares(: !

First up is..

Coralista Blush by benefit - this one of their boxed blushers and since getting this gorgeous blusher in one of their limited edition sets released this christmas, its been my to-go-to blush and has totally won me over from MAC's Springsheen!

Next is..

Collection 2000's Fake It, False Lash Effect Mascara - i want to say this has changed my life but i wouldn't really go that far! I was so fed up of L'oreal's telescopic that i ventured into the world of boot's and took the plunge and I'm extremely happy to say that it was the right thing to do! This Mascara is amazing and it really does give you a false lash effect without looking fake. This doesn't flake away and can be reapplied throughout the day if needed, I really can't say enough about this! Just go an buy it.. £4.99 at Superdrug or Boots (:

Third on my list...

Natural Collection's Sheer Lipstick in Sorbet - this is beautiful! i've been really impressed by this brand over the month of october. It seems to bring out natural products, for very little price that are very good quality for their money and this little gem is definatly one of them.

Fourth...

This is always one of my favourites - its my go to lipgloss. It's ELF's Mineral Lipgloss in Daring. This colour brightens up my face when i wear it and i really think it gives me that flush of well needed colour. It's running out, so i'll have to stock up on it. I love this range of lipglosses from ELF anyway as they're really great quality for only £3.50. I really do love this colour as well (:

Fifth...

The most boring thing the planet has ever come across - Makeup Sponges! :O
They really have been my savouir this month, my Studio Fix Fluid has gone on like a dream with these beauties and i just buy the ones from superdrug that come in a pack of 20. I've been using these a lot more than my brushes at the moment as i'm just finding that they give me the better finish.

The last is a little something for my hair...

It's V05's Weather Resistant Volume Boost Gel Spray. For the last few weeks, i haven't been curling or straightening my hair (except from my side fringe-doesn't really count!) and it really is doing it some good. I've just been scrunching it when i blowdry it (: It's been a dream for time in the mornings I have to say! I've been spraying this in at the ends to around the middle of my hair and just scrunching it and then putting in my dry shampoo. This really has made my hair a little more interesting and wilddd! (in a good way!)
